"Red Self Persian Male. 1GrCC and BOB, Haynes' Ch. Sapphire Viola. Not quite the name one would expect for a red self male!!However, this boy had very pleasing type and deserved his award. He was of medium size with a strong body and solid build. Chunky head shape, broad top with a square shaped face. The ears were small and well sited on the skull. Large round eyes , bold, with a cheeky expression and good orange eye colour. He had well developed chubby cheeks and a broad fat muzzle. The chin was very strong and he had a scissor bite. The nose was very short but broad with a decent nose break and pink nose leather. Body shape was very cobby and set low on short thick legs. The coat was a very rich shade of red, sound in colour and very dense, soft and thick without any barring. He had fluffy trousers and a short bushy tail and was extremely well prepared for the show. A cat with a good expression and with a wonderful temperament."

"GCC Haynes Ch Sapphire Viola. A very handsome red boy just coming up to eighteen months old with a great future and all his life ahead of him. He could not improve on his lovely rounded head balance with ear set at just the right angle and cheek and chin depth to match. His eye colour is to die for and will serve him well throughout his life. Cobby compact body set on thick well bred bone with a tail well in proportion all covered with the deepest rich sound to the roots coloured coat groomed to the highest show standard."

"GCC Haynes Ch Sapphire Viola. A great start to the day, a super red self boy in excellent show condition. Very well groomed coat, thick but soft rich warm red. Short wide full tail. Broad head with tiny side set ears, well furnished, short broad nose with good stop, firm chin, cheeks full, when he could be persuaded to open them, his eyes were big and round. Solid bone and well padded, thick short legs with big feet, broad chest. A quality boy with super temperament."
